What is yoga?
Yoga means "unity" and is designed to bring together your body, mind, and spirit. The physical practice of yoga, or asana, aims to improve strength and balance in order to reduce pain and clear your mind. A strong, capable body is essential to a healthy mind and spirit.

What does Vinyasa mean?
Vinyasa is a style of yoga! Vinyasa yoga moves your body through poses using a flow which has the added benefits of improving mobility and breathing as well as focusing the mind.

What do I need to bring with me for my session?
Bring yourself, a positive attitude, water bottle, and any personal yoga gear! Dress in comfortable clothing that allows to move freely. Anything you don't have, the studio has for you to use during your class including mats, blocks, straps, blankets, and bolsters. We also offer a complete collection of yoga gear and activewear in our store if you are interested in purchasing your own.
How do I know which class is right for me?
Our classes are separated by level! Beginner friendly classes will have the word Beginner somewhere in the title. Other vinyasa classes are open level, which means anyone can attend and modifications will be provided for more challenging poses. Yoga Fit is ideal for those looking for a fast-paced workout with more cardio than traditional yoga. Restorative Yoga classes are appropriate for those experiencing pain or limited mobility. Meditation & Breathing classes are ideal if you are looking for a clear, balanced mind, relaxation, and stress relief.

What is Restorative Yoga?
Restorative yoga classes focus on relaxation and lengthening of the body. This class is ideal for those experiencing chronic pain, stress and anxiety, or physical limitations that prevent vigorous exercise. Restorative yoga uses props extensively to prevent pain and discomfort while still allowing yogis to experience all the benefits yoga has to offer.

What is Yoga Fit?
Yoga Fit is a hybrid style class that incorporates aspects of HIIT workouts and calisthenics into a vinyasa style yoga class. This class is not for beginners and will provide a fast-paced cardio and strengthening workout.

How old does my child have to be to attend Mommy & Me classes?
Any age is welcome! This class is for all mommas and their little ones. Mommy & Me yoga offers stress relief, postpartum recovery benefits, and bonding experiences for you and your kiddo. You are responsible for your own child during the class.

What should I expect from a Meditation & Breathing class?
This class will use pranayama (breathing) techniques to improve mental clarity, then move into a meditation session where you will focus your mind for the ultimate relaxation experience. Sound healing will be incorporated into many sessions. Wear comfortable, loose clothing and drink plenty of fluids before and after your session. Feel free to bring extra blankets and pillows to your session for the added comfort.
